Dr. Toft is double board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery as well as the American Board of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery. He has been a licensed Medical Doctor in the State of California since 1995, and is a member of the American Medical Association, California Medical Association, American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and other prestigious organizations.

Throughout his career, Dr. Toft has demonstrated a commitment to excellence. He earned his undergraduate and medical school degrees at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where he was recognized as a top-performing medical student by the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Toft began his surgical training at Stanford University specializing in head and neck surgery, where he developed his interest in facial cosmetic surgery. Dr. Toft then went on to complete a prestigious and highly selective fellowship in facial plastic surgery at UCLA Medical Center where he learned cutting edge surgical techniques from world renowned experts in the field.

Dr. Toft has shared his expertise with the medical profession by teaching other physicians the art of facial plastic surgery, writing and editing academic texts, reviewing cosmetic journals online, publishing facial plastic surgery articles, and giving national presentations.

 

Dr. Toft believes the goal of cosmetic surgery is to provide enhancement while maintaining a natural appearance through the use of modern techniques that make you look refreshed and healthy, not pulled tight or "operated."  To achieve this outcome, Dr. Toft will work closely you to develop an individualized approach that achieves your goals while preserving the delicate balance of your facial features. Dr. Toft prides himself on educating his patients about the best procedures available, the pros and cons of each technique, and why one particular approach may be best suited for your specific features.
