A firm, trim neck gives the face a more youthful appearance. Neck liposuction may be performed alone or during a facelift. This procedure has a short recovery time and helps to remove unwanted, stubborn fat.

Technique
During neck liposuction, unwanted fat is gently removed through a small incision below the jaw line. Fat deposits are removed by inserting a small cannula beneath the skin and into the fatty tissue. This instrument is used to break up the fat and remove it from the neck area. A bandage is applied to the head and neck to reduce swelling and discomfort.
